Now a little writing

So day one was overwhelming!!  Incredible church service and the place was packed.  The pastor gave a great message on Luke 17 and I was greatly encouraged by what I heard from him and from those who gave thanks to him.  There was one man who came to receive Christ and the "celebration" there in the church was both uplifting and humbling; how I wished we celebrated the moving of the Holy Spirit like these people did today!!
We were able to hand out Bibles to him and a group of ten others who had recently received Christ.  Patrick and I were given the honor of praying over these new believers in their new life!  Then, surprise! We had Bibles for everyone there!!!  There were around 120 who received Gods revealed word today!
I was overwhelmed but greatly honored that they asked me if I would preach a short message.  So, I brought a word out of John 1:1-18!
There was a great celebration afterwards and there were others here from other villages.  It was incredible and uplifting.  I have honestly never seen so many people coming up, taking the mic, DROPPING to their knees and thanking God for all of the blessings that He has given them!!!  How humbled and small I felt.  They thanked God for all of the things that we just take for granted sometimes.  And they did this until about 7pm!!!
So, this is day 1 in Bugabo!  If this continues I will need the Holy Spirit so much more than I thought - maybe that's the whole reason He brought me here.

God bless you all for your prayers - they are being felt all the way across the world in Africa!!!  I'm not surprised, God is powerful!!!
